Lake Manitouwabing Wedding × The Ridge at Manitou, Parry Sound, Ontario
I have been so excited to share this beautiful & intimate Lake Manitouwabing Wedding, hosted at the Ridge at Manitou Golf Club in Parry Sound, Ontario. Northern Ontario is truly one of my favourite places to be and getting to photograph love and weddings there feels so much like home. Our family has been spending summer days at the cottage our parents owned in Parry Sound since both my sister and I were little babes, and being there with them is one of my favourite memories. My love for the feeling of being up north under that unreal blanket of stars, the lakes and being on the water comes from them, and spending time with the ones I love in the Muskoka & Parry Sound areas hold such a piece of my heart.
When Katelyn reached out to ask about photographing their wedding between the pines just south of our old place on Lake Manitouwabing, I was so excited to get up there and be a part of their day. Katelyn & Jacob said their I do’s just a few steps away from the lake at the end of the summer this year, and I loved every cozy, heartfelt minute of their day. They are two of the sweetest people with so much love between them and their families are just awesome – that sweet combo makes for one hell of an awesome cottage country wedding. Thank you guys so much again for having me there with you & your families, and bringing me right back home, and to the lovely Agnes from Northern Wildflower for documenting this day with me.
