If this day fills you with as much love, smiles and good tears as it did for me, oh my you’re in for one beautiful ride! Meg & Dylan emailed me one day last summer and my eyes lit up while reading. They were planning a wedding in their backyard, yet no one knew except a few close family members! It was a surprise wedding and I was so pumped to be a part of it alongside them.
Meg & Dylan invited me to their beautiful home, and upon walking into their backyard greeted me with the biggest smiles. It was so hard to look like I wasn’t there for such an incredible moment in all of their lives! They had this beautiful long table set up with their favourite wine, their beautiful big dog wandering the yard, and string lights overhead. It was so cozy; the backyard was filled with the best vibes, their loved ones together and good music. Once everyone got to hang out a little, Meg & Dylan said they wanted to thank everyone for coming. What they did next made for the best looks on everyones faces – they announced they were getting married!! Right then and there!
Everyone was a beautiful mix of happy, shocked, tears, funny screams, and so much excitement. What an amazing moment! They had their ceremony performed by a close friend, with all of their loved ones looking on. The rest of the night was filled with incredible family style food from Nique, loved ones who stood from their chairs to express sweet words about Megan & Dylan, dancing and just so much love.
I am so grateful to have experienced this moment with all of their family and friends. Thank you so much Megan & Dylan for including me in your day and for treating me like family too! Congratulations loves!
