Niagara On the Lake is one of the sweetest little towns in Ontario and I get so excited when I am able to explore it with my couples and families for their photography sessions. From the quaint bed and breakfasts on every corner, to the peach trees in their Spring blooms guiding your way down the road to the beach, Niagara’s wine country is nothing short of magical.
Kate & Josh got the chance to sneak away to one of Niagara’s gems, Pillar and Post for the sweetest little weekend escape. They drove out to celebrate their wedding anniversary, and asked me out to document one of their cozy afternoons there. Kate is an incredible wedding, lifestyle and real estate photographer from the Hamilton area, and I am so grateful to have met her a few years back. She is one of the sweetest ladies I know, and her husband Josh is her total McDreamy and the most gentle soul. I was so lucky to have been asked by them to document their love, just the way it was right here. There is so much to these photos and it gives me all the goosebumps. They were married at that same spot at Pillar and Post just one year ago, and decided to spend a bit of their anniversary with me. This filled me with so much love already, and made me feel so lucky to have the job I do, and that I get to spend my days with the greatest people. One of the sweetest parts? These two were just freshly expecting a little babe here, and knowing these photos are filled with the beginning of their journey as three is the best feeling ever. My eyes are filling with all the juicy tears as I write this and with just a few weeks to go till their little one arrives, I cannot wait to meet their little dreamy babe.
Kate & Josh – you two rock so much and I am super grateful to have you both as friends, I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to document such an incredible time in your lives. Sending so much love your way always and prepare for lots of baby squishes!
